Inspired by

my mother

Madre Garcia’s was born from a dream to bring high-quality Latin sandwhiches to Atlanta—and honoring my mother and our family’s recipes. My childhood was spent cooking alongside my mother, where she taught me that food is more than nourishment—it's a love language, a way of keeping culture and family alive.

Having spent most of my life in Atlanta, I’ve always searched for Latin food that captured the same soul and flavor as my mother’s cooking and Cuban sandwiches as good as those in Miami. Madre Garcia’s was born from a dream to change that.

Before selling our first sandwich, I spent a full year obsessing over every ingredient of the Cuban sandwich—deconstructing, refining, and rebuilding it from the ground up. I made multiple trips to Little Havana, studying the craft at some of Miami’s most iconic sandwich shops. What I’ve created at Madre Garcia’s blends the best of what I learned there with the flavors of home I grew up with.

This is more than a pop-up—it’s a tribute to my roots, my mother, and to anyone who believes food should tell a story. We invite you to taste that story in every bite.

The woman has shoulder-length black hair, red lipstick, and is wearing a blue dress with a pearl necklace. They are smiling and the woman has her arm around the man's shoulder.
